Growing up I was surrounded by remodel projects, which I can solely thank my parents for. So even though my search for a college degree started out undecided, I followed my heart and concentrated on what I loved; Interior Design. I received my Bachelor’s Degree at UW-Stout; majoring in Retail Merchandising & Management with a concentration in Interior Design. Right out of college I began selling flooring. I worked with customers on all sizes of projects in the Rochester Area. While seeking a job where I could work closer to our home in Owatonna, I was fortunate enough to become an Advantage Cabinets team member in 2006. I started out managing the showroom & eventually migrated into a role as an assistant designer at Advantage Cabinets & sales for Bookwalls. I learned a lot from the many people I have worked for/with over the years. I am so excited to join the sales team at ACI again and to be able to serve the community with all their design & cabinetry needs!
I reside in rural Owatonna with my husband, Jayme and our 3 daughters. We are active members of our 4-H club in Steele County and enjoy camping all over southern Minnesota. My favorite pastimes are anything crafty & creative to keep my daughters busy, running in a variety of 5K races, and being with family & friends.
I hope to get the opportunity to work with you!

Growing up in the Twin Cities, I always had a hammer in my hand as a child, driving whatever nails I could find into an old board. My youth was filled with carpentry projects and of course, building a club house. As life went on, I worked for carpenters and contractors before, during and after my college years. After we bought our first home in 1999, we completely remodeled it from the ground up. This experience gave me the drive to do more and ultimately I got licensed and started my own remodeling business. As the recession of 2007 put the brakes on the construction industry, I donned a suit and tie and entered the insurance world, achieving success because of my passion for helping people. In 2014, I relocated to Blooming Prairie with my family to continue my insurance career but continued to dabble in building projects around our home. One project was as building a coop for our 6 chickens and bunny to help them battle our Minnesota winters. After 10 years as an agent, I decided to go back to my construction roots at Advantage Cabinets. I’m excited to be part of the sales and project team at Advantage Cabinets and utilize my experience and creativity, while listening to the needs of my clients.
I live in the country between Owatonna and Blooming Prairie with my wife, Amanda and our five children. We love country living and all things outdoors like hunting, fishing, camping and hiking. There is never a dull moment in our home with constant activities and projects.

I was born and raised on a family farm south of Owatonna. My first job was helping neighbors with anything from baling hay to mowing lawn. After graduating from high school, I went to the University of Minnesota and graduated after two years with an Associate Degree in Diversified Ag. After working a couple of years in the Ag industry I had a desire to do something that would challenge me but also be in an area of work that I enjoy. I applied for a job at Advantage Cabinets and did not get the position. A few months later another opening came up and I applied again.
I joined Advantage Cabinets in December 1994. I began working as an installer and counter top builder. This was great because I got to build things and see the great product that we were making installed in people's homes. After buying the company in January of 1996, I continued to work in production for many years until the company grew large enough that we needed more management. I currently oversee the entire company and focus on the Sales staff. I am fortunate to have hired quality employees that handle most of the daily operations and I can now focus on strengthening our company for the long term.
I have 4 active children. I enjoy seeing them do well in school and learn things that I do not even know. I also get the opportunity to lead, coach, chaperon and just be involved with the many different activities that they do. I also enjoy snowmobiling, boating, camping, or anything out doors.
